Ok work pays for me to have a Cingular phone .. I didnt want to delete my Version account because everyone I know has that number so I have the 990 on that
for cingular I have the D807 .. both by samsung both claiming they use T9
I can add words to my D807 but can not find out how to on the 990 .. I can not believe that you cant .. if thats the case i think its utterly stupid
on my D807 short cuts like lol xoxo and brb are already included .. I added a few cuss words lol and such but on the 990 they dont even have those .. I mean who in the world doesnt use lol alot ..
has anyone heard about a way to add words .. or if there is a upgarde comming soon that will add words and or allow us to

Unfortunately, this is the case with all Samsung phones. You can not teach them new words in a "custom" dictionary. That really sucks, and that's one of the main reasons I won't touch a Samsung phone, even though they have pretty nice phones. I am sticking to LG for this - and many other - reasons.
