vx 8300 or samsung 990
any experts out there that could help me out with this decision. i know the 990 is expensive, but money aside for a minute, which of these phones is the better phone?

Can't help you with the comparison, but the 990 is $250 on Amazon after rebate with new contract w/Verizon right now. That's not too bad, relatively speaking.
...
Oh...and the Amazon rebate isn't one of those that you have to submit 6 months later. Some other online vendors have it for $200, but you need to wait and send it with copies of bills etc.
