Samsung SCH-A990

which one is better. Im confused since both of the phones have kind of the same features.
I know that the SCH-a970 has a software upgrade available. Can someone tell me which one is better using the new software upgrade on the 970. I like both of them very much but whic one should i get. Can someone tell me if they have a970 with software upgrade how muck memory is used ans left on the phone.
Also will the 990 getting a software upgrade?
