Swapping Phones?
If you have an older version of the phone (less bright screen), can you go to a Verizon Wireless retailer and get it swapped free of charge?
And would you have to save all your information (contacts, pictures, sounds, ringtones, etc.) or would they transfer it over for you?

Yes, I did this today. Tell them you want the new internal antenna and the brighter external LCD and they will do so for you.

Why are you swapping phones??? I just got mine yesterday. The hardware verison on mine 6.07. Is this a problem? I there a big enough problem that Verizon is swapping them for free? Thanks

Well, the thing is, you may have gotton your's only recently, but I have had mine before it came out in stores. The two problems are that the LCD is not as bright and there is a different antenna. Personally, I don't mind the antenna because I get excellent reception with this phone. However, the LCD has been bugging me ever since I have had this phone.
And the thing is, they knew about this before the initial online release date. So I feel entitled to swap phones because of the warranty.
Otherwise, this phone is perfect. I have made my own ringtones, wallpaper, picture IDs for this phone. You can actually import other pictures to put on your phone is what I mean by making my own picture IDs.
