What happened to the new silver color?
Then new silver color was on the vzw website yesterday but now its not there anymore. The main verizon page still shows the fathers day special with a black interior phone. Anyone know anything about this?

I think they are coming out with this in the next few weeks. The site even mentioned (Gray) in the description of the phone...so you werent really ordering a silver one, you were ordering the gray one.

yeah its odd they still show the father's day special with the black interior razor on the site, but verizon reps have no clue about any other razor.

It was a goof up--- it's happened 3 times so far: before V3M was announced, it appeared on our phone guide page with the SILVER picture. Then right before it actually came out that was corrected to the gray picture. Then on motorola's webpage the silver pictures had been featured, someone on this forum pointed it out, and that ran for like a day and someone changed that back to grey. Then with the price change, someone put the silver pic back up on the page, they changed it about 12 hours later to match the IN GRAY in the description; so yesterday, the silver edition actually appeared in our equip guide and says that its launch is dependent on how well the gray one sells. noone is going to know any specific dates because they don't exist.

yesterday. At that time, only the

Hey did the person you talked to happen to give you their mailbox number? Everytime I call they always say that they only have the grey one and they don't know anything about the silver one.

I hear ya, but I dont think it looks that bad...atleast they were smart enough to offer a different "looking" phone than the v3c. The v3m shouldnt even be available in dark gray.
People like a new look for their phones. If I get a chance to get the v3m ill get the silver, just to not have the same looking phone again.

When I went to on of the Verizon Wireless sotres, I saw the Razr v3m. It looks like the same color as the vc3. 😉

If you go to the VZW website today, they are now offering BOTH the original dark gray RAZR, and the new kitchen-appliance-like silver RAZR.
