Motorola RAZR V3m
Phone tools with V3m
I just purchased the V3m from Verizon. I'm trying to set up MPT to use with it, but I haven't been successfully. I'm getting ready to lose it and start throwing stuff if I can't get it figured out. Here's the steps I did:
1. Installed MPT 3.23 (phone disconnected).
2. Auto update installed 3.25b (phone still disconnected).
3. Restarted PC as requested by install.
4. Connected phone with USB cable.
5. Ran the Driver Tool that Motorola recommends from BVRP. It seems to change the driver in the system settings as I get several chirps from the connected phone.
6. MPT still doesn't recognize the phone.
I'm going crazy. Any help would be MUCH appreciated. Thanks.

Has anyone figured out how to get the Multimedia function to work with the V3m and MPT ðŸ¤

I finally was able to get a version that would update to v4.2.1 and it worked. Still want to find out how to load songs with MPT, but at least it's working so far. Thanks.
