I'm actually working with bitpim on my girl's pink razr that she got today. Go to mark.cdmaforums.com and all the information you ever wanted is right there. In order to use bitpim with the razr you need to seem edit the phone first.

I played around with my silver outside/black inside v3m so I know what I'm doing on her phone. How do I explain to her I fried the phone after only a few hours if I messed it up. LOL

I tried to use Bitpim to add ringtones, but it wouldn't let me do it. Instead I used Motorola Mobile Phone Tools (MPT) v4.04. It works great. Go to http://www.motov3m.com and read through the tutorials. It tells you how to seem edit, use MPT, change start-up and shut-down graphics and sound, and a whole bunch more.

I didi end up using Bitpim to chop songs for ringtones. It has a converter and a slider function so you can chop out exactly the part you want for the ringtone.
