Anybody else have these problems?
I have had my phone for three weeks. I have it set on ring and vibrate. It seems that sometimes it reverts back to the original audio style of "loud" by itself. I have missed calls when the phone is in my pocket because it didn't vibrate.
Also sometimes the on / off tone and the "biker" ring tone crackle. I called Motorola and they told me to reset the phone, which I just did, but don't know if that will fix the problem.
Anybody else have these same experiences?

The phone automatically changes to 'Loud' when you plug it into the charger, and if you adjust any audio settings while it is plugged into the charger it will stay on loud when you unplug it from the charger. If you have one audio setting that you normally keep it on don't fiddle with it. Then, when you unplug it from the charger it will revert back to your preferred style from loud. The phone changes to loud while on the charger because you can't feel vibration if the phone is out of your pocket and on the charger.
At the highest volume setting the speaker is bound to crackle some when playing tones that may be high pitched, etc. I've had about 6 diffrent Motorolas and the outside speaker on the V365 is far better than any of the ot...

I got my v365 about 3 weeks ago. It was the first time in 4 years that I felt like I had a real phone in my hands!!! But sad to say I've had one problem: After a couple of days of use, primarily with the PTT, people on the other end of my conversation complained about not being able to hear me??!! This problem then rolled into a normal conversation while on "speakerphone".
I bought the phone directly through Motorola, and sent it back.........Motorola advised it was a software issue and I am to recieve a new v365. But, the first c/s I spoke with gave me the wrong address and wrong ra# for motorola to "officially" grant my warranty exchange. And I'm still dealing with c/s on this issue.
I'm sure that when I recieve my new v365 this issu...

every thing is working fine. this is still the best phone on the market for cingular!

What also triggers this is when you manually change your ring settings to vibrate or silent on the phone. When you return it to a ring setting it will return to the "loud" setting rather than the "Vibe & Ring" audio setting. This is just a motorola thing that I have experienced on all of my moto models.
