Palm Treo 700p

Can the Treo 700p be used as a modem for my laptop???

I know that I should be able to do this via bluetooth, but when I went to the verizon wireless website, it says that I cannot use bluetooth to make my cell phone a modem. Can I circumvent this problem with a data cable??? Thanks in advance.

yes for sprint i know for a fact but you have to pay an extra 25 dollars a month for it. under the power vision plan.

CAN be used as a modem with Verizon, either via Bluetooth or a cable... But, like Sprint, there is an additional charge for this on top of the regular data plan... Can't recall the exact amount, but I believe it's either $15 or $30 more per month...
