Bitpim error When sending or recieving data from phone
I dont know if its a bitpim issue or the phone but i plug up my girlfriend's chocolate and it reads it fine, the thing is that when i pick a file to upload to the phone, whether it's a pix, music, or anything, bitpim gives me an error saying the provider blocked access or something like that, i cant remember the exact words (ill check it out as soon as i get home), but if any-1 has encountered this b4 plz help. Thx.

If you have version 05 on your phone then your phone is locked out. Best way is to use a microsd card for pictures and music, but for ringtones you should email it to your phone. Not sure of any other work around.

Yea i have been e-mailing them to her phone, it works fine that way but its a million times easier with bitpim (i use it with my 8600), SW version T85vzw05 not sure if thats what u meant by version 05, looks like i do, u kno anyway of unlocking it if its possible? and thanks for ur help.

Is it only locked out with Bluetooth? If i get a cable from ebay can I transfer to my phone? i have v5 also..thanks

It is locked out completely, but I found out that with v5 there might be a workaround. Look here
