Some users of this phone(like me) got it when it first came out and when it first came out it DID NOT have speakerphone. Some people(unlike me) do not read/resopnd to forums so they don't realize this phone has the capability of having speaker phone unless they get it updated from a store... and side note stores don't tell you what button activates the speaker phone!! Quoting the short version of Phone Scoop Terms of Use "Don't be a jerk."
