LG VX-8500 Chocolate
uhhh Verizon's head sar of .32 does not agree with 1.13 in documentation
SAR is the amount of radiation absorbed in your head when you use the phone. It ranges between 0 (if the phone didn't transmit anything) and 1.6 which is the legal limit in the US. Verizon claims the Chocolate has an SAR rating of 0.32, but the documentation reveals it to be something like 1.13
Just wanted to share.
Think about it this way:
A phone held to your ear might be transmitting to a cell phone tower miles away.
A Bluetooth headset on your ear is only transmitting a few feet away.
Neither device transmits any more than absolutely necessary at any given moment, to conserve battery power as much as possible.
There's a huge difference in the amount of radio energy needed to reach those very different distances.
