Clicking the Show Missing Features link seems to indicate the phone has no speakerphone and no headphone jack. The latter seems a little weird.
Looking at VZW's site, I can't find a headphone jack on the 360 view. Maybe like PCs shipping with no floppy drive, this is a BT-headset only phone? Seems odd.
My main concern is good reception, followed by a decent battery. In this case, the LG is a disappointment. It doesn't seem to have an optional high capacity battery, and 800mAh is pretty light.
Most of the new phones don't have a charging cradle, so charging a spare battery is really inconvenient.
Aside from the MP3 feature, the 8300 may be a better deal for me.

it has a headset adaptor that plugs into the usb slot. It comes in box with phone. As far as battery, remember one display not two, so don't count it out, stats on talk time don't look that bad. The battery is actually a little larger than razr. This phone is pretty thin and coming from the razr i will be happy if it performs a little better in the battery department but can live if it is equal.

What is the reception like with this unit since I'm returning a RAZR that has done nothing but dropped calls in the 1 day that I've had it; where my old Kyocera SE47 slider never had any problems!
What type of interface adapter does it appear to have to get an USB into it?
How about a car charging port is it specific to this unit or will another LG model fit it?

Pretty much all phones have a headset jack of some sort. That's a given.
The feature we list is whether it has a standard 2.5mm jack. This phone does not; it has a proprietary jack that requires a special LG headset, or an adapter.
As far as I know, this phone does not have speakerphone. We'll be sure to update the info if we discover differently.

Well, speakerphone isn't listed on the official LG spec sheet. It's the kind of important feature they usually list.
We also happen to have one, and if it has it, we haven't figured out how to activate it yet. 😕
