I'm interested in getting the 8500 but am concerned, as a MAC OS X user, about HOW to get tunes and pix from my Mac to the phone?! Windows Media Player only comes in 9 for the Mac (currently) and I understand you need *10* to transfer files. Any ideas or help? TIA! :-)

I am also a Mac user, but i have the benefit of having a pc in my house. About the windows media player, your best bet would be to try and change the file format on itunes or the desktop to .wma and your photos to .jpeg. im not sure if it works becuase im still stuck with the VX-8000 for another two months.

Hope this helps.

all you need to do is format the card in the phone and use a card reader with your MAC. All you have to do is copy and paste the music into the music folder. ***Remember*** change the format to MP3.

OK, guys. Apple is rummered to be working on a phone. Don't know much about it but would guess somewhere along the lines of the chocolate, IPOD style.

This has been rumored for months now and there are no details available ... no date, no price, no carrier - nothing. Personally, I seriously doubt that it'll be compatible with Verizon whenever it actually appears - so unless you're willing to dump Verizon then you better get used to your Chocolate.
