mp3 player
anyway to get mp3 to play in track order or am i stuck with alphabetical, date and size? i mostly listen to live concerts and id like to keep a show in the right track order if possible. any ideas?

How are your tracks named? Are they...
01 title.mp3
02 title.mp3
etc?
Also make sure the track number attribute in the ID tag is filled in.

some of my tracks were labeled as:
01 title.mp3
02 title.mp3
some of them came out alright but others did not have the track number there. my ID tags were all filled in and set so that was not the problem. i dont get why the tracks i did have labaled as 01 title.mp3 would go back to alphabetical order

if you put a period after the track number like this...
01. song name.mp3
02. song name.mp3
etc.
you wind up seeing...
01_song name.mp3
02_song name.mp3
etc.
crude, but it works.

why would it not read it though if there is no period before hand. i can deal with adding it, just curious as to why it is necessary?
As a second question, i have all my music on a mac but put my mp3's on cd and brought them to my PC at work. could that have anything to do with it? anyway to get this phone to work with a mac?

I'm curious about that myself. There are some Sync options in WMP 10 that are interesting (Set Up Sync), but not one for song numbers.
Not sure about getting to work with Mac but there are other posts about it. I don't think the Mac to PC would affect anything but, again, I'm not sure.
