Missed Call Indicator
I've got Chocolate set up so that it will beep when I get a voice mail or text message but how do I go about having it beep, light up or perform any alert for a missed call?

I don't think you can do this for a missed call. I know how to set all the rest of the sounds up for voicemail and such, but there is no option for a missed call. Although, why would you really want this? Set the phone to ring or beep instead of doing it when a call is missed. I am not really sure I know of a phone that can do this or a phone that I would want to do this.

Often times people will call me and I'll miss the call and no voice mail is left. I don't konw about the missed call until I manually press a button to look at the display. I like to be notified that I missed a call without having to constantly check the display, which blacks out after 15 seconds. On my old LG VX6000 (a flip), if there was a missed call a marquee would scoll every 30 seconds or so. My best bet would to probably leave the display set to always on or something.

Bad idea on the always on. 😲 This will KILL your battery life. Sadly, the Motorolas seem to be just about the only line of phones that will give you an occassional beep when you have an alert, such as a missed call. Oddly enough, where you seek that functionality, others deride it. So there you go. No way that I'm familiar with to do what you're doing, but I do NOT recommend setting the phone display to 'always on'.

my blackberry had a LED that would blink red when i missed a call, got a VM or a TXT, that was the best feature of any phone ive ever seen, not sure why they dont include that on these more fancy phones. 😡
