can't I just set MP3 for ringtone?
I've read couple threads about setting customized ringtones for Chocolate,
and I wonder, can't I just cut the MP3 file for less than 350kb, upload it to my micro SD card or phone memory, and then set it as a ringtone??
The directions are SO confusing and I really don't know what to do. :'(
anyone can explain how to do it in easier way to understand it for newbie like me?

As far as I know, you can not put a mp3 on a card and point to it.
However, if you go to http://www.funformobile.com, you can use that site to send you an mp3 to your phone. Once you receive the message from that site (you will know it is it when you open the message and the mp3 is playing), you hit the options soft key and select "Set as ringtone".

is this the right URL for doing it?
so basically, I cut the MP3 file less than 350kbs (does it has to be less than 30 seconds as well?), and then send it to my phone by using this website?
Is it free? I think it's saying it is free but I'm not sure... 😛

You got it, thats exactly what I did.
(as for being free, I believe it is. I havent noticed any charges. I think in another thread it was stated that their upload service is free of charge, but if you download their rings and what not, then you get charged. To other phonescoop members, if I am wrong, please correct me)
