if i could have your opinions on which to buy [v3m vs. 8500] based on (experience of);
-Reception
-Speakerphone
-Battery Life
-Customizeability

Thanks!

I got rid of my razr for the choco, couldn't be happier, my razr's battery would not last me a day while the chocolate will. The chocolate is far more customizable, it is not even close in that categorie(just a few examples, flash ui(couple different menu layouts, 4 programmable shortcut keys, video walpaper) the razr is a red bar verizon ui clone with a crappy battery life. The only thing the razr had over my choco was the speakerphone, since i have not had mine flashed with the update i can't compare those. I would suggest the chocolate or the new krazr, but the razr is old boring and stripped down imo

THE BIGGEST THING YOU NEED TO LOOK AT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE SLIDE AND THE FLIP. THE RECEIPTION IS ABOUT THE SAME THE VOLUME IS GOOD, I HAVE NOT DONE THE UPDATE YET SO I DON'T KNOW ABOUT THE SPEAKERPHONE. I DO THINK THE CHOCOLATE GIVES YOU MORE THINGS TO DO ON IT AND MORE WAYS TO CUSTOMIZE IT.

I REALLY LIKE THE CHOCOLATE THE ONLY DOWN SIDE FOR ME IS I KEEP MINE IN MY POCKET SO HAVING THE ;MAIN SCREEN ABLE TO BE SCRATCHED IS A DOWN SIDE.

I WOULD WAIT AND CHECK OUT THE MOTOROLA KRZR K1M COMING OCT 5TH SAME AS V3M THINNER AND NARROWER IT ALSO HAS THE TOUCH PANEL LIKE THE CHOCOLATE ON THE OUTSIDE
