Speakerphone Update - Battery Issue
I did the update to add speaker phone myself. Phone works great. You can set to single or double click, camera takes pic by hitting "OK" faster. Song list doesn't reload unless you change something...etc.
PROBLEM: seems like my battery is running out faster than it used to. Charge used to last at least 24hours but now my phone is shutting off in the middle of the night.
Anyone else have this problem?

do you have a memory card? dont save your pictures on there, thall kill your battery right quick

I have picture and did the update.....I have noticed little difference with the battery. I would say mine is the same...or better. I evn extended the display to stay lit longer.

no problem with my battery either. i love this phone now that his has its speakerphone enabled. im working on putting most of my pics and music on the phone itself to extend the battery life. if i use the mp3 player, my battery is toast.

Where did you get the update from? I thought you had to take it to a Verizon store and have them update it?
Could you describe the steps, apps etc on how you did it?
