I was just looking at the VX8600 and I noticed that it had file transfer capabilities through bluetooth.
Just wondering if it is possible to make this work with the 8500? I dont know much about the software of phones but I was just wondering.

if this sticks it will be a monumental shift in Verizon's thinking and it would be about time, I would expect software updates in the future to fix existing headsets. The file transfer on the 8600 only works for you pix/flix/music, no ringtones or anything like that, basically the same files that are created on your sd will be unlocked for bluetooth as well.

Talking with a rep at a VW store, it sounded like there are software updates in the works for the 8600 that will allow direct file transfer over bluetooth. Whether that will be to resident memory or the microSD card or both I don't know.
