2400 Looks better than 3100
I think this phone loosk like a smaller version of the 7500 in a way without the rubber gribs I like that look 😁 well Another entry level phone that will sell like hot cakes
...
I'm sure it will sell good since not everyone needs the bells and whistles of EVDO and TV and all that ****e. However, i dont exactly see the point of releasing this phone. This phone is EXACTLY the same as the 3100 in terms of size, and everything else. However, the 3100 has a VGA camera! So if you take a 15 year old girl, let he choose between the 3100 and the 2400, ofcourse she is going to choose the phone that has a camera! And the price different is not going to be a whole lot, so it just makes me ponder why they would release a 3100 without a camera?
...
when i wrote my post above, i wasnt aware that this phone is a special phone for kids... meaning parents control certain things with this phone.
...
And some people want phones without cameras. Strange as it may seem.
...
the phone is based for kids because of the parental control feature but should be a nice entry level phone any ways
...
There are also a lot of businesses that don't allow the employees to have camera phones, but I think the big thing will be the parental control.
...
There are also many Government buildings that don't allow camera phones. We have a lot of troops stationed in the fort in our area that cant have them on base as well, but they still like having the Ready Link to use with their buddies 🙂
...
what you also need to realise is that sanyo phones have had a "parental control" on almost all models it was just located in security and under restrictions. i know the 2300 200 8100 8200 have it almost every sanyo i have seen has it even the 5600
...
The reason for releasing this phone is for contractors as myself, who are not allowed camera's on most of our work sites, as it is forbidden by the plant. Not all consumers are 15 year old girls, there are corporate users too.
