Memory Card Problems
😕 Anyone know why my phone keeps saying "not allowed" when I try to look at anything involving my microSD card. It used to work, but ever since I tried putting files on it with a memory card reader it stopped. I have restarted the phone in many different fashions and have removed the card many times. I erased the card completely but still I cannot access it. I cannot move files to it or anything. It did this to me when I first was using it, but after several attempts, it finally said "initialising" over and over. I then restarted the phone and it worked. Now, nothing seems to work in an attempt to get SD card rolling... please HELP! Thanks!

This sounds like the problem I had. I too tried removing the card and putting it back in and it would not work though it worked fine before. Then I got it to work finally, I just made sure I really pushed it in there. Honestly I don't know if that's what fixed it or not but it's working now. Now that I have it working I plan on leaving it in there and doing all file transfers through the phone even though it takes longer. Now I want the N95 so it just has to work through the new year.
