Im getting this phone unlocked for my cingular plan and was wondering because it doesnt have any cingular software, can I still download ringtones, send txt and pix messages with it? ANy help would be great, thanks.

You can send and receive pics using MMS messaging. You can access the net, etc. All functions work on mine with Cingular once you enter all of the proper info into the phone.

Not sure what that guy is talking about, but on HowardForums it's been confirmed in US pix messaging doesn't work. The standards are different apparently, T.Mo and Cingular don't support the phone and therefore won't give you a hand. I don't know what settings he is talking about...

What do you mean by pix messaging? Sending a picture to another persons cell phone? Every function on my phone works perfectly.
