Ring tones and wallpaper
I was wondering if anyone knew how I could make my own wallpapers for the phone from pictures i got off of the internet? and does anyone know how to take a song from my computer and make it a ring tone? My old phone I know you had to just take a short clip and make it a small mp3 file, but I dont know if that works with this phone.

Wallpapers for the main screen on the VX8600 should be sized at 176x184.
I use Adobe Photoshop Elements 3 for resizing my pics.
You could use vzwpix.com for sending them to your phone.

You can use Bitpim

with the music kit data cable(you get the drivers from that SW) the bitpim program will help you size the wallpapers and the ringers too.
