LG VX-8600 / AX-8600
LG AX8600 (Alltel) Reception
I just got this phone last Friday. I'd like to ask any and all 8600 users with Alltel how your reception is. I'd also like to know if you are in a rural or urban area.
Alltel is the best carrier in my local area as far as reception goes, but I had a dropped call right off the bat with this phone. I was calling from a rural area to a more populated area (in my local coverage area).
I'm giving myself until Thursday or Friday to decide whether to return or not.
If the reception and call quality can't pass the test, nothing else matters to me. It is a phone first and foremost (for me).
Anything you can tell me yourself or what you have heard about reception and dropped calls are very welcome.

I have this phone and I have not had any problems with the reception. And I live in a rural area too. I had the strobe and had horrible reception and I am so glad a changed phones cause I haven't had any problems with it so far.
