8600 vs 8700
Im thinkin about gettin one of these phones i've played around with both of em in stores so i was wondering if anybody has either of em which one is the better phone? Im a few months away from my NE2, but I was considering getting one of these phones at full retail price or off ebay if i can find deal for either phone, and just saving my NE2 if i wanted something newer that comes out after i get either phone.. as of now im leaning more towards getting the 8600 because its cheaper, and you can view text messages on the outside screen (i have the 8100 and it has that feature )

When my wife and I switched to Verizon Wireless recently I got an 8700. It was a decent phone, but not great. I sent it back and got an 8600 which so far has been a MUCH better phone. Call quality seems slightly better(it was already good on the 8700) and reception is waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay better. Battery life seems about the same on both with a slight edge to the 8600.
To me the 8700 was ok, but the reception problems killed it for me.
