Ringtones using memory card.
Sorry if this has been posted but there seems to be a few threads about getting ringtones on the phone. I have Alltel so I do not know if it works with Verizon but it should. There is a way to put ringtones on your phone without usinga cable bluetooth or email. IF you have an SD card adapter for your computer and any songs you want to use as a ringtone or alert, when you open the LG Media folder up, put those files the other sounds folder, not the music folder. When you put your microSD card back into your phone all the songs or tunes you put in the other sounds folder will show up in the downloaded folder, copy them to your phone and then you can set them.

I tried what you were saying, I even used www.mobile17.com to try and moderate the MP3 I wanted to use for a ringtone, but when I put it in the my sounds folder it didn't work. Is there a spacific format that the sound has to be in?! If you could send me a walkthrough, I'd be super appreciative!
