Does the lg vx 8600 have mini sd like the lg -v? im goin to upgrade, i really miss the flip phones lol plus this is the 2nd v iv had and it has started to give me some problems. I have been reading other post and so far the 8600 sounds real good 🤤 , are there any cons?

No it has micro sd. No other upcoming phones after the V and vx8100 has, or will have mini sd. They will all have micro sd instead. I own the VX8600, and love it so far.

The upcomming LG VX9900 (the upgrade of the LG VX9800) will accept and support the card.

No, the vx9900 will only support micro sd

Cesar was right, the 9900 will support mini sd. Not sure why all future phones wouldn't support micro sd though since micro sd takes up less space, there is no other difference between the 2. With that being the case, I don't understand the point of ever using the mini sd.

Well at my favorite online store(newegg) there is only one 2gig micro at $90.
Whereas there are four mini's, the cheapest is $30.
1/3rd the price is quit a difference.
