Speakerphone on 8600 compared to Razr
Does anyone know how the speakerphone on the 8600 compares to the Razr? I am looking to buy the 8600 but the speakerphone is a big factor for me.

the speakerphone on the 8600 is definitely not as loud as the Razr. The Razr also has the advantage of being able to use the speakerphone with the flip closed and also making and answering calls using the spakerphone with the flip closed.

It i think you can use the speaker while its closed as long as you have a handset plugged in. Once you close the phone take out the headset and you should still be able to talk. I learned this trick from the 6100.
