LG VX-8600 / AX-8600
Screen turns white when receiving a call or opening it.
Last week or so a weird bug creaped up on my 8600. When I receive a call, the outer display turns white instead of showing the number or wallpaper. When I open the phone at that point, the inside screen is white too.
I can see the actual wallpaper just barely through the "white haze".
Its like someone maxed out the contrast and brightness on your tv.
Now, if I close the flip and open it again, it usually fixes itself.
Then I noticed that if I just open the flip to say make a call, the screen randomly turns white too.
First the hinge creak'n and now this, this phone is going back.
Anyone having this problem?

Oh Yeah, and when the screen turns white you can barely see it, but you can see that the image is backwards. Like a mirror image.

I just received a new vx8600 today and I'm having the same issue. I haven't made many calls with it yet, but I've had the same issue on and off when I flip the phone open. It has also happened after leaving the phone open for more than a minute.
Did you end up taking yours back? Does anyone know if there's a firmware upgrade for this phone yet?
