1oddmanout's review of the Motorola Triumph

Impressed!
Having lots of smartphones since the old PPC6700, I have learned to look at reviews on this site first before purchasing. I have been on Sprint for a long time, and Virgin Mobile for the past year.
My Optimus V worked great (even survived two falls from my pocket while riding a bike and crashing to the pavement), but I was intrigued by the Triumph on VM - fast processor, lots of RAM and the large screen, but I need good GPS and signal, and was put off by the negative reviews.
However, with the recent half-off deal (and another 20% off), I took the leap, bought one and gave it a good tryout today. As the title shows, I'm impressed.
I took a long bicycle ride into DC today, receiving emails all day, playing the music player, and running GPS for mapping the ride.
Once in town, I took the bus back to Dulles, streamed an episode of Futurama on the Netflix App and then watched some videos I have in storage.
Six hours later, after constant and heavy use, I still had 30% of battery left. This is as little battery drain as I have ever received from any other smartphone I have had, and better than most. I can't fault it.
Pros:
The large screen makes watching videos a joy;
The fast processor makes itself known compared to the V by fast downloading and switching apps;
Really thin!;
Takes great photos;
Stereo speakers on bottom?;
Potential for video chat;
In good signal area, 1857kps down, 862 up.
Cons:
$300 retail OMG.

Still Impressed!
Update: 5/4/13.
After having this phone about 18 months, it's still going strong and totally reliable, and Virgin Mobile service remains adequate. It's been dropped twice without any mishap, the gorilla glass has taken a few scratches, but I am pleased with the screen quality and size.
It does exhibit some particular Triumph quirks, such as daily reboots (no problem), usually caused when going in and out of wifi zones. GPS does take a long time to connect at times, but stays strong once done. Overall, great value for the money.
