Chopper2342's review of the ZTE Vital / Supreme

original version, submitted Dec 24, 2013, 11:50 AM:

Great Android phone, Sprint network not so great

I love this phone hardware. The big 5 inch screen looks beautiful with Android 4.1.2, and the interface is plenty fast and responsive. The battery life is pretty good, I have gone a few days without a charge and minimal use, but I usually charge it up nightly and occasionally in the day if I use it heavily. The 12 MP camera takes beautiful pictures, and the HD video playback/streaming is excellent. I added a 64 GB Micro SD card for extra storage, and that works great. The audio for calls is good. The one drawback to this phone is using the Sprint network via Virgin Mobile. Sprint has fairly weak signals in my area (Minneapolis, MN) so coverage can be spotty. When the 4G network is available, it's really fast...but it's not always easy to find locations with good 4G. The 3G is adequate, but also can be spotty.

PROS:

Display
Camera
Android 4.1.2 interface
Ease of use
Battery Life

CONS:

Sprint network
1 GB of Memory (would rather have 2 GB)
Speaker audio is tinny and weak, but clear
