GREAT VALUE FOR A BUDGET BIG SCREEN PHONE.
I was with MetroPCS and LG Optimus F3 and was having an issue with the phone memory. I had 8 apps installed and it asked me to delete apps so that the phone can update. So I looking to get a phone with more memory.
I finally decided to get this phone, and here are my pros and cons with the phone.
Pros:
*Big Screen (So you can pull it out in front of people and not be embarrassed. This is same as pulling a phone with buttons 2 years ago)
*Expandable memory upto 128GB( if got a 128GB microSD card on e-bay for $10, and apps can be saved on SD card....System memory is 8GB, and 4GB is available to the user.
*Great battery life, but thats probably cause it new, and can hold a charge better than an older phone.
*Andriod 4.4KitKat, new OS, means you have access to newer content.
*64bit chipset, so its upgradable to a 64bit system like the iOS, or upcoming lollipop.
Cons:
*Dull Colors (they do not pop as my old LG F3's did, or the new iPhone 6plus, or the Samsung S5, or other HTC phones like M8)
*No flash on the back camera, so the pictures taken indoor and in dark have a lot of noise, you can mess with ISO setting and opt for darker picture to reduce noise, but it defeats the purpose)
*All new HTC phones come with stereo speaker, and they are amazing...this one however have a mono speaker. Its great quality mono speaker, but people kinda now expect HTC phones to have Stereo speakers, so thats a little bit of a downer.
