BlackBerry Curve 8330
Average Ratings
Very Good Phone
I have been a Blackberry owner for many years. I have owned then way back when they were barely a color screen. The Blackberry Curve really impressed me. I had an 8830 before this one, and it was too big and bulky. I suggest this phone for current owners, and owners to be.
PROS:
Good Battery Life
Good Reception
Nice clear screen
Small Size
CONS
Trackball is a bit rough, feels almost like sandpaper. Much better on the 8830
Keys seem to be a bit harder to type on, but you get used to it.
Sprint BlackBerry Curve 8330
I have been with Sprint since 1998 and have had literally over 25 Sprint handsets. My first being the Sanyo 8500 Flip. I am sure you remember that relic.
Anyways, I have just recently upgraded to the Black Berry Curve. I am impressed. It takes alot to impress me when it comes to Sprint branded handsets.
Lets go with the PRO'S -
Screen is absolutely brilliant. The keypad works flawlessly and texting is a breeze with the way the keys are arranged. Took me awhile to get used to the track ball( I came up from a Palm Centro with a touch screen). But once I got the hang of it, its twice and fast and twice as responsive as the palms touch screen. Scrolling is fast and seamless while using the browser, which I may add is OUTSTANDING. Camera is the clearest I have seen thus far, unless u have used the auto - focus on the Sanyo M1.
I could go on and on about this phone. Seriously the best phone I have owned/used to date without a doubt.
There is so many options and features, they all work flawlessly with effortless movement of the trackball.
I cant say much bad about this only that you can only send pics with mms and email. no picture mail service like a non Black Berry Phone. But I can tolerate it making up with the GPS, Sprint Music Store( the head phones that came with this handset are next to perfect) oh yeah 3.5mm jack!!!!!! bout effin time.... Get the phone. you wont be disappointed//...
Curve 8330 (Verizon)
Having been a Palm Treo user for 4 years, I was nervous about trying a non-touch screen, but if I was going to try one, I figured a BlackBerry would be my best option, as BB's get some of the highest reviews. I also wanted to swith from ATT to verizon for coverage reasons, and 8330 got 4.5 avg reviews! It took me a few days to adjust to the tracball coming from a touch screen, but a week later, I love it! The only drawback, as a real estate agent, is that BB has no infrared, which allows me lockbox access once installing the eey program, but it's not a deal breaker. Texting and emailing is lightening quick, love it!
So far, hands down, this PDA is AWESOME! (and very stable)
Best Blackberry Out there.
I love this phone I have had this phone since before it came out for sprint. And by far it is the best blackberry out there on the market. I just did the 4.5 os update which makes the phone even better with full HTML email, threaded text messaging, and also document's to go. If you are in the market for a blackberry this is the phone you need to get right here.
sprint blackberry curve 8330
I have been using the curve for about 3 weeks and all I can say is blackberry for life. This is the best phone ever. I'm coming from the 8130 which was cool, I just needed a full keyboard. If anyone from sprint is reading this can we stop being the last ones to get these phones. Oh yeah work on the sprint t.v thanks. Thank God for blackberry.
AWSOME PIECE OF MACHINERY
This phone is the best. I must say right off the back there are no cons with this unit. I am a crack berry PHENOM with skills; This has made me the happiest person right now.
I am coming from the BB 7520. Wow. Most would say that is ancient. And you are right. But this machine is dynamic.
If anyone is reading this; GO FOR IT. You will be extremely pleased. This is the mack daddy of all units.
AND YOU KNOW THIS! MANNNNNNNNN!
Good
Phone is great. Only complaint is the battery life is horrible. I take care of my battery and charged it fully before even turning the thing on and the battery life is flat out awful. Much worse than my 8703e was after 2 years of usage.
sprint curve
i just got this phone yesterday.......initial thoughts.....
sweet phone! this is probably the best phone i have ever owned (my first BB)
fast internet, although being new to BB it is taking some time for me to configure everything. too bad the memory card is inside the battery compartment. setting up email was a breeze, and call quality is good. i like to rubberized sides for a good grip on the phone, great titanium look to it. keypad exceeds expectations.
very happy
i have had the curve for a week now and i love it... i switched from the voyger good move ...
i wish the battery could be just a little longer but no big deal.... great phone..
my wife got a curve too and she loves it has not put it down...
I gave in...
Okay...I gave in...I got a BLACKBERRY. I have to admit that this was something in the making...I have had the MOTOROLA Q since it was released in June 2006 for Verizon Wireless. Matter of fact I have had many. The last being the Q9m, which is very acceptable. I have always been content with the fact that it was Windows Based and that is would SYNC with my computer. BUT THE CURVE IS SO MUCH BETTER!!!
Pros.
Well Blackberry speaks for its self! It really is easier than I thought and the function are everything I need.
Cons.
I do have one con. I wish that it was offered in black from the get go. I am sure that it will later. But you never know.
All in all this is the best phone that I have ever changed to. I am not easily sold or satisfied, down fall of my business. However, I have had this 24 hours and I am very happy with its performance.
