All around great phone.
I previously had a SE W600i which I was pretty happy with however the "swivel" feature and bulk (thickness) of the phone got to be annoying, coupled with no memory expansion I decided I needed something slightly better.
The W810i picks up the slack left behind with the W600i in a nice candybar style phone.
The W810i was now available and looked like exactly what I was looking for.
The phone is pretty light, the form factor is small, the phone is about twice as thick as a Moto SLVR (not bad at all).
This phone has a 2 megapixel camera and it takes pretty good pictures. I find myself using the camera more so than on other phones with lesser cameras. The camera also has an auto focus feature which is quite handy as well.
The MP3/media features are very good as with any SE phone, I will admit I'm not a huge user of this feature, even though it is what SE boasts, I will use it occasionally, The addition of the memory stick duo is invaluable for saving pictures and putting muic on the phone, one of the features that the my previous W600i lacked.
All the other standard phone features are there and they work just as well as any other SE phone.
The number keys work just fine, the navigation buttons (D-pad) in the middle is different from their previous phones, it is an actual D-pad with middle button, it has no "joystick" in the middle.
This is probably one of the best non-smart phones from SE I have used so far.
PROS:
Small form factor, memory card, MP3/Media player, 2mp camera, SE's great GUI/interface.
CONS: Volume slightly low on highest setting.
Prefer "joystick" over this new "D-Pad" for navigation.
Right - Almost perfect phone!!
I own this phone for about 4 month and almost everything is perfect with this phone. No trouble, no shut down, no problem.
Pros:
- Good quality cam, good cam options for shooting mode like panoramics, fast shooting, macro, flash and night mode.
- Reception is good, no drop call
- Head set included with chage possibilities,
- Radio FM
- Bluetooth is working perfect
- Infrared is working propretly
- Memory card up to 2 gig
- data cable (usb) included with software working very well.
- Camera, volume and play-pause button very accessible.
Cons:
- Sound volume little bit to low
- MP3 player sort songs by artist and make differents categories for songs that featuring an other artist, so you can't listen an album if so...
- Little bit low, like all SE..
