Audiovox CDM-8900
Average Ratings
Lots of features but poor quality
The phone shows promise with its many features, but falls flat in terms of quality.
Audio: Tin-like.
Speaker-phone: Poor quality, hard to hear.
Screen: Good menu, visual clarity.
Pictures: Very poor quality.
Had high hopes for this phone -- especially for the price. But it simply doesn't function well...
I guess
i really hated the 8900 i actually have both in my lap the 8900 doesn't alert you of text messages or incoming calls that much. just has the blue lights on the side that only flashes once have a go notifier when the flip is open but if its closed OK its overlooked, and I'm not the type to walk around with the flip up.
8900.. just like other audiovox phones
i dont own one, but i have used them extensively since it came out.
pros:
size, good rf
cons:
horrible speakerphone like all other audiovox speakerphones.
like someone else posted, its a step down from the lg6000 in every way.
another useless phone from audiovox.
Not a bad phone
Not a bad unit. I have missed 3 calls due to not feeling the vibration feature in the phone. The functions are easy to use and the battery lasts a very long time. I am looking forward however to viewing the Samsung 600 series phone to see if the vibration is any stronger. Picture quality isn't too bad with no camera lag time.
