The 6126...hmmmm???

Dec 20, 2006 by Nieceygee

I was issued the 6126 and I am big fan of Nokia products. But this 6126 hasn't impressed me too much. First of all.....major flaw.....when I try to do picture messaging...it shuts my phone off!!! I called Nokia and there is some kind of glitch in it. LOL

Then Nokia changed the whole look of their menu which makes the phone more complicated to use. Even the font is real small so I don't recommend this phone to people wth vision problems. Well to sum it up....I'm not happy.

NEVER AGAIN!

Oct 14, 2007 by plezurepuppy

I had Motorola phones for the past 8 years.. WHY DID I SWITCH!?!?! This is hands down the worst phone EVER! T-Mobile has been nice and replaced TWICE now, but the problem isn't T-Mobile, it is the junk coming off of Nokia's production line. Everything about this phone is a joke.. the signal receptors are junk.. I have had multiple people tell me that I sound like I'm in a wind tunnel or something to that effect (keep in mind I'm on my 3rd phone now)... the alarm doesn't work when the phone is 'plugged in' charging ... any time you pick up the phone or put it in your pocket, the dumb camera button activates the camera (it is overly sensitive) so that means by the time you realize it, the battery is drained ... not that you can tell anyway, because the battery only lasts 2 days on standby regardless. The menus are ok, but certainly not what I would call user-friendly, especially when compared to Motorola, Samsung or other ones I've played with at the stores... I don't know, I'm trying to think of something positive to say about this phone, but the only thing good about it will be the day my contract with T-Mobile ends and I can get rid of it permanently. I'm serious, I don't know about other Nokia models, and I've heard they are a good company, but they'll never get a dime from me again. I know one other person with similar problems, and my parents had a Nokia a few years back and they didn't like it for similar reasons, so... Nokia.. NEVER AGAIN!!

NOT HAPPY

Oct 25, 2006 by DEFIE

I expected a lot more from Nokia.

Cons

- THe side button to flip open feels to flimsy.

-Finger prints all over keypad suck.

- Mp3, can be set as ringtones, but it's a runaround. It's not as easy as a RzR,T809, Trace. T-Mobile locked out that feature to make money on ringtones. The 6103 was easy to personalize as far as mp3 ringtones.

- Battery is the worst. It is now 11:48 a.m I've made two, 15 minute phone calls couple of text and I'm on less than half the battery. I'm exchangin it soon.

-You have to open phone to check date,or time, you can't see from the external lcd.

Don't waste time, gas, or money on this.

Pro's:

I like the design, it's nice. Internal antenna, and the clarity on screen is pretty good. And it's a black phone.

TMobile Nokia 6133 have a black or Blank screen

May 2, 2008 by celph

My TMobile Nokia 6133 have a black or Blank screen all the time, wont even power up.

It shows the Cell phone charging, and all you can ever see is the battery symbol when it's closed and plugged in.

Once I open the phone (even though still plugged in) the battery symbol goes away and the phone just seems to be a useless chunk of metal/plastic.

6126 display mal-function

Jan 10, 2008 by zeroinput

I have a 6126 that I bought Thanskgiving weekend 2007. I turned it on this morning, 1/7/08, and found that the mini-display was malfunctioning; that is, gray blotches, and color streaks. When I looked at my main display, it was grainy and would fade in and out with black shadows. I called AT&T repair and the woman who answered my call said I dropped it or did some other physical damage to it. All I know is that it worked completely fine the day before. She said it would cost me $115.00 to repair or I could try my luck with Nokia factory repair, which I am going to do. All I know is, I did not physically damage my phone and I did not drop it! I did not emurse it in water. Yet the customer service rep 'accused' me of doing just that. Basically her mentality appeared to be take it or leave it. From what I am reading on the AT&T forums, this is a problem that is not isolated to just my phone.
I had a Nokia non-flip phone back in 2004. I cannot remember the model, but it was a small one that could fit in the little pocket of my blue-jeans. The display was always exposed and yet, I never had one issue with the phone at all. Even when I dropped it, it kept on working for years. I think this will be the last flip phone that I ever buy.

Started Good

Jan 7, 2008 by ejw8454

This is by far the worst phone I have ever owned. I never like Nokia from the start but it had the best features for T-mobile. I text a lot, this is not the phone for people who text. I have talked to a few people who have the same phone and this is what it came down to.

Pros.

Wav. ringtones great to have.
Expandable memory slot.
Speed dial.
Good signal for t-mobile not the best.
Fast user interface.

Cons.

Can’t set text ringtones.
Must convert ringtones to wav.
Slow texting. Delayed texting, all the time. Messages are received by others 2hrs later.
Horrible T9. Bad camera. can't lock the camera--button is on the outside of phone. It always comes on. By the end of the day you will have 3mb of pic. N there all blk. People can't hear you when you call them. They say it sounds like we're talking through a scrambling device. Texting is the worst. The phone will fall to pieces if it fall 2 inches. Battery is garbage. It’s unrealistic--horrible for texting.

I do not suggest this phone. Trust me I’m saving you time and money. My mom can barely check her email and she hates this phone.

Come on Nokia all you make is phones and this is what you produce. This phone is a joke.

Good little phone BAD earpice!

Oct 31, 2007 by BKKloppenborg

Well i got this phone for my dad before i ditched it.

Pros: Decent screen, Pretty good recpetion, small fliphone, ok ringer volume, Nokia Name.

Cons: Earpice is HORRBILE it cracks, and is not clear at all, plus isn't loud enough. Really cheap feel to it.

The earpiece is one of the most important on a phone you should not take shortcuts with it. Phone was switched out same issue. Nokia blew it on this phone.

Nokia 6126 ATT another Razr..:-(

Sep 11, 2007 by ossy43

Pros: Nice graphics, good nokia interface.
Signal is good, but not as good as my old Nokia 3220.

Cons: This a another Razr by Nokia.
I mean, very low volume even at max is difficult to heard.
The ring volume is also low even with the setting at high.
The vibration is a little bit better than the razr but not as good as my old Nokia 3220
The battery life is also weak, which means do not talk too much or you'll run out of battery.
Have to be charge every day...
I don't know why Nokia thinks we need another razr.
I just got it because it was free after the rebate and the Nokia N75 is the same thing.

Tough Cookie

Jul 19, 2007 by desdecoux

I have had this phone for almost a year. I am extremely with my phone. I have always lived by Nokias because they are strong and can withstand being dropped all the time.
This phone has lived up to my Nokia Standards.
Although I have never utilized the music features.

Pros:
- The open button =)
- great Camera
- loud speaker phone
- tough
- i love the large/bright screen

Cons:
-Bluetooth does not connect with Motorolas.
