Awesome color screen and great price!
I really enjoy using this phone. The color screen is huge and the body of this phone is taylored perfect for your hand. The battery life is great and the aftermarket accessories for this phone are plentiful. Great Job Motorola.
Good. No?
I had this phone with Verizon and it worked great. Sure, I had to take it to a techician for...uh..."re-programming"...give me a break. My only problems with this phone were with Verizon. I loved the phone, the features, the size, the feel of it. I just hated how nasty the screen got after holding it to my face for like 2 seconds. Hopefully it wasn't just me. I never even considered upgrading to a new phone but something happened. I don't remember. Something having to do with me, a two year-old and some apple juice.
But now I work for Cingular and people bring that phone back all the time with complaints. I haven't met one person who actually liked the phone or didn't have any problems with it. So I guess it sucks. Who knows...
my phone is posessed
earlier this year i purchased this phone from rogers wireless (canada), for 39.99 on a 2yr contract, when the phone was new i was overly inpressed with it, the external display, different colour seetings, personalized menu options, and the ringtones. but as the months went on i grew weary of it, i found that the ringer was never loud enough, with it in my purse, i could not even hear it unless i REALLY tried. now when i set a ringer, a totally different one will play. and not to meantion my alarms, ring at the most 1 HOUR later then set!!!!o and not to meantion that if i set ANY backround the main menu and clock are nearly impsoible to see even with the colour settings.i have not had this phone 6 months and its already funkin out on me. if i could turn back time i would NOT have got this phone.
The honeymoon is over
This is my second t720. I've had minor problems with both. Most often, the phone simply doesn't ring, or when I'm left a voicemail, it doesn't signal that one's been recorded. The problem is solved by restarting the phone on a regular basis, as you would a computer. The problem is that I sometimes forget to restart, and no calls come in. I don't think I'll be getting another 720 next time.
