LOW VOLUME NOKIA 6102
I have some hearing loss from being in a gun mount on a navy ship. when I purchase this phone the VOLUME was a little lower than I like so after playing with it I discovered that if you turn on both of these ways your phone will seem like you have it on speaker:-)
1. menu--setting--profile---activate outdoor setting.
2.menu--phone--call-activate auto volume control
if this is not loud enough for you then I suggest you seek a hearing doctor QUICK
Not the phone for me
Cons: I had the 6102 for a couple of days before returning it to Cingular. The menu was a pain to work thru. Poor reception.
Pros: There was alot of things to like about this phone but the reception & menu made me return it.

Bad phone design and poor build quality!
After two Nokia 6102, I am looking elsewhere.
CONS:
Flip is good however antenna is thick and long, external screen is too large and glass too thin so very fragile. Mine cracked within a week. Got a replacement phone and the plastic piece covering the speakerphone and part of the antenna stub came off. The keys are too small and the chrome rings surround each row of keys obstructs key pressing. The charger is ridiculously difficult to plug as is the headset. Chargers and headsets are proprietary. Headsets have terrible and spotty performance and I have used two different types - ear-bud and wrap around the ear.
This phone model is a LEMON! The CONS far outweigh any PROs that others have mentioned, therefore, CANNOT recommend this phone model.
