Cool Little Phone
Pro's:
Thin
-Decent battery life
-Easy to use and see keys
-Speaker in front of phone
-Microphone (for the DC/WT and speaker phone) picks up voice very well
-When unlocked for Nextel use, works great.
-Holds signal very well
-Mini-USB charger great for also charging on a computer's high powered USB port
Con's:
-Shiny glassy front scratches easy
-Phone book does not allow for programming of pauses (for calling automated systems)
-Microphone for the DC/WT and speaker phone use is too sensitive. Must keep phone at least 6 inches away from the mouth to be heard clearly
Overall for the money, it is a great little phone. You won't feel like you wasted your money.
Step in the right direction for iDEN
PROS
Very thin, great phone design and keypad, backlights add to the look and style. Good sound quality. Feels good in hand, not cheap.
CONS
No camera, no bluetooth, and no mirco SD card slot for an MP3 player. I have owned many phones with almost every US carrier and I have rarely use those features, so it's a non-issue for me to have a phone lacking those things.
The worst thing about this phone IMO is the screen. It could have been a little bigger, theres room. It could have also been in 18 bit resolution instead of 16 bit. Although it's a smaller screen and not 18 bit res, it's a great phone and worth the $40 price tag. If you don't need a cam, BT, and MP3 player on your phone, but you need DC/WT, theres no better choice.
