Very over priced
My husband and I have had over 100 phones and their services, during the past 6 years. This phone is at the top of the list for being one of the cheapest made and with an outrageously high price.
I love the Boost Mobile $50 monthly unlimited service but their phones suck!
I've bought Verizon wireless phones with everything the i776 has for less than $30 and the Verizon phones were better made, with nicer screens and graphics. Of course, I couldn't stand their prices.
You can buy a compatible iDEN phone from Nextel, online or your local classifieds. Just make sure it's an iDEN phone only; meaning that the model of the phone will start with a letter i (ex. i776, i425 but NO 'ic' and then numbers. The ic is a iDEN - CDMA hybrid phone. So it will NOT work with any service providers other than Nextel/Sprint.
Not worth it.
I have had many many Sprint/Nextel phones so far this one has been THE WORST phone i've had! This phone is horrible to text with and the reception on this phone is horrible i barely ever have service with it. It has such a horrible delay with receiving and sending text. It even feels cheaply made. It barely has any options on it. So far the only good thing about this phone is the battery life and that it looks nice.
