The Phone That Does What it Says
I replaced the Samsung Moment for the Samsung Transform. I am mostly satisfied with this phone...
Pros:
Battery life-not too bad for a smart phone, I can go two days without charging
The phone just works! The Moment did not!
Sound quality for calling and ringer is excellent.
Cons:
Wish it were Android 2.2
Camera could be better
Needs software or at least an app for video editing so that I can share my captured videos
There is some lagging.
Signal strength is poor in rural areas such as Lyndon, KS.
Overall, I have bragged about this phone. I just love the fact that it just works! It does what it is supposed to. There may be a bit of lag, however. I do not expect a perfect phone, as there is not one on the market as of yet, so I highly recommend this!!
Transformed from the Moment
First off, let me explain where I came from. I had a Samsung Moment(M900) before this phone. Constant lock ups, poor battery life, and a screen that was too dark in the daylight kept me aggravated. After complaining to Sprint about the phone all they could do is offer me to sell it back to them at half the price i bought it. So, i ended up buying this phone. So far, I have had no data lock ups. Calls have been solid, and it is quicker than the moment. It started with 2.1 and from what i hear i will see 2.2 on this device. I have experienced where the phone will not lock once you press the lock button, but i can't exactly put my finger on what makes this happen.
Pros:
No more pesky data lock ups
Clear call quality
Feels lighter than the moment
Screen does not feel like it could break off the keyboard
I can see the screen in the sunlight with my sunglasses on
Cons:
As with any smartphone, battery life is still horrible.(I would love to see a extended life battery and cover for this device)
Sprint ID is pointless for a user as myself(great for new users)
Removal of "bloatware" apps requires root
My use So Far
Ive had this phone for about a week and so far am very impressed with it.
Pro's - Great size screen, bright enough, great speaker, and great phone call sound quality.
Con's - Needs a higher pixel camera, random slowness with internet conneciton.
