Sony Ericsson T226

Horrible!
ive had this phone for about a year now, and it is the WORST phone that i have ever had... its even worse than my old black and white phone also by sony ericsson. the only good thing about this phone is that it is light, small, and the sound when talking to someone is good... i wouldnt even go that far. even if you are a simple person who doesnt care what phone you get, you WILL care about this phone, because it is honestly and truley the worst phone that sony ericsson has probably made. PERIOD
It is an OK phone (KEY WORD OK)
This is an extremely basic...again...BASIC phone. The sound quality is exceptional, the graphics are ok, and the design is what kept us from giving it a ZERO. It is small and compact...that is what most cellular phone users want these days. But our main problem is with the SCREEN. It is TERRIBLE. Bits and pieces of clothing lint get into it, it scratches very easily and it FALLS off! We have had experience with this phone. Crazy glue may fix the problem but it will still be kind of sticky. Get this phone if you are going to be using it for very basic not rough use.
H-ZONE
Not a bad phone
For a basic phone, the SE T226 is not too shabby. I am able to get decent reception in my apartment, where my other phone would crap out on me with one bar if I was lucky. The battery life is another pro. Once fully charged it seems to last quite a while, even with above average use. The alarms are useful and the time-display screen saver comes in handy.
However, this is a basic phone and does not have many features that I look for in a phone, such as an integrated camera, larger keys, large screen, and instant messaging. Text messaging is a little awkward, as you have to go into quite a few menus in order to send one. The screen resolution is not so wonderful, many pictures appear grainy and washed out.
I reccomend this phone if you are looking for something basic but functional, with good reception and good battery life.
Great GoPhone!
Very nice phone which lacks many "fun" features, but makes up with it in so many more places. It has great reception and a great earpiece...which is what a phone is about. Plus a major point for this phone is its vivid color display...very bright and enjoyable. I would definitely reccomend this phone to anyone looking at the Cingular GoPhone!
It's ok...
The Good: Color screen, good reception, tiny, great battery life
The Bad: Sluggish, only 512 colors, low resolution screen, buggy
This phone was to replace my old Nokia 6190. I really think that old beast was better. This phone's good, but does tend to lock up now and then. My mother's phone(we got 4 of these for a family plan) died, my brother's COM port died(couldn't charge) and my dad's rarely comes on the first time.
Now, this phone is fun as a basic phone. It's quite easy to get a cable and software for it so you can load your own rings and pictures. I even got full voice files on there for my well before that was popular! So, it's not all bad I guess, but I'm ready for a new phone
Average Phone
I had had a Nokia 3100 before but my sister persuaded me of purchasing this little phone, which was much beautiful than my old nokia. So, I bought it, but as the time passed by, I started to miss my nokia more and more:
PROS:
+Loud and clear polyphonic ringtones.
+Solid little phone.
+Lovely design.
+Good audio-recording quality overall.
CONS:
-Really bad quality color screen (pictures are seen deformed).
-Bad reception indoors (Career= Personal, Buenos Aires, Argentina).
-It doesn't allow Java games and applications (Just mophun).
-Menus are slow.
-Charger is quite big.
I think I will change it soon for a brand-new Siemens C66.
One of Sony Ericssons best
Pros: almost anything you could ask for in a basic phone.
Cons: Dim 512 color screen. Backlight could be brighter
THIS PHONE OH MY GOD!
I've had it for 6 months and the darn number 8 is already broke how dont know.Very poor reception. Not a whole lot of coverage. It freezes up on me and now my internet won't work.So I cant download ringtones.UUGGHH
Horrible Phone
I am on my third phone this year... same model under warranty exchange, my wife is on her second... the only reason I kept going back, was that I couldn't find any New ATT phones due to the merger... I finally made the switch to cingular... lost minutes and paying more... just to get rid of the phone... don't get me wrong... cingular is ok... but I gave up an AWSOME att plan just to get rid of this piece of junk... bad reception, dropped calls with high reception bars, poor voice recorder, pics up the tv in the background better than my voice while talking... many friends and family would ask me to switch to my land line when I called them...
Pro's: not anything any other phone can offer
con's: bad reception, dropped calls, tiny buttons, too small.
