Not Amazed... It's OK
So I switched to Tmobile and was highly recommended this phone. I paid $99.99 with a 2yr contract. I saw it, and was pretty happy with how it looks, especially having an 8mp cam and front facing 2mp cam. However, my expectations were set higher than the phone delivered.
First, it is very heavy. Secondly, did not get a strong signal - but thats probably due to Tmobile itself.
The battery is the WORST! I would charge atleast 3x a day. So prepare to carry a charger anywhere you go. I could not leave my home without making sure I am at least carrying the wall charger to plug wherever I can or a car charger. Its seriously is that bad!
Pros: Very fast. Clear calls. The screen is amazing! Pictures are very nice taken and crisp.
Amazing.......
well I guess I can just do it like everyone else.
I can't believe I am the first review.
the good
Obviously the screen, it is bright and sharp and beautiful, I can actually see it out side in the sunlight.
Finally HTC made a phone for t-mobile that has a big screen, not a small 3.8 in screen but a nice size in an android platform.
The phone seems to work well, it seems fast not much lag. Great camera. the speaker phone seems better than my previous phone, a mytouch.
The software the newer version of android seems better but it don't even come with a barcode scanner, on an android phone?? everywhere you go they have those little barcodes to scan with your phone. the keyboard they don't offer anything good and they don't offer dragon dictation , my my touch had a couple and dragon dictation, it was great, with a small keyboard you can speak what you want to type, really miss that.
the bad
Obviously the battery, I wish the phone companies would make a battery that would last at least a day, I mean the phone is so big what is the difference make it a little bigger.
the reception seems so so I was on android market and it said connection timed out? it had four bars but could not receive anything?
the mobile hot spot don't connect to my laptop unless i restart the phone or pull the battery.
and then it seems slow the browser sometimes says connection timed out or browser cannot display webpage, if you use your phone for a hotspot it is kind of spotty.
it could be amazing htc needs to fix the wifi hot spot issue and maybe some other updates and the phone will be amazing
