This phone ROCKS!
I have had this phone since January and believe me- I have put this phone to the "drop" test. I am extremely clumsy with phones and have dropped this phone at least three times on concrete from higher than 5 ft! Now the last drop did "kill" my cover, but I had a spare black cover that I put on it and it still works great. It is only a mono speaker, but that's better than nothing.
Oh- and mine is a 850 frequency. I bought it in the US- not Europe. Someone posted earlier that they wished it was 850, hey guess what- it can be, just depends on where you buy it.
Overall this phone is great. I used it for 8 months- I now have the 6682 :) Now that is an awesome phone!
A Phone With EVERYTHING, seriously.
This phone is AWESOME! I bought the Motorola Razor phone and used it for a few weeks. It was horrible. The software was sooo slow, I felt like I was on a dial-up modem, but it did look cool. So, I returned the Razor V3 and picked up this Nokia 7610. It has *EVERYTHING* and I mean *EVERYTHING* a phone could possibly have (short of being a microwave). Its super-fast and everything can be customized the way you like it. It has an awesome camera that lets you record 10 minute video clips! The sound on the videos are perfect, it has a great microphone so when you play the videos back you can see AND hear everything going on. This phone is with Cingular. I have worked in the wireless industry for several years and therefore been through a lot of phones, A LOT. Going backwards, I have this Nokia 7610, before that, Motorola RAZR V3, Nokia 6620, ..., ..., ... the list goes on and on. Some of the features this phone has I don't think are actually "out" yet in the carrier's abilities, but it will be cool when they are! This phone is not cheap, but if you want a phone that does EVERYTHING you could imagine, get this thing.
NOKIA 7610
It's a great telephone. it has a great camera and the perfect system. it's a bit heavy and large but this is how smartphones are. the bad thing about it, its MP3 player is that you can't hear on stereo headphones. i own this phone and i have to admit that i am pretty happy with it.
IT IS FASHION PHONE
I purchased 7610 in Sept 04. Certain pros and cons are like this
1. Pros: It is good fashion phone.For fun and frolic it is okey. You can not become too serious over the picture quality, shadows, and the quality of the video. It is handy and portable.
2. Cons: Video quality and sound is not that qualitative as MP-3 Files. 3 GPP files being so compressed gives image of frame dropping deteriorating the video. U cant play the video files in yr realone and window media player nor can convert the 3 GPP files into MPEG files so that u can edit and modify files in some other Editors.

I LIVE IN INDIA AND I REALLY DO LIKE MOBILE PHONES...I BOUGHT MY 1st MOBILE IN 2002 THAT WAS SONY ERRICSON Z200....IT WAS A NICE PHONE BUT IT WAS NOT HAVING CAMERA....
THEN I BOUGHT N-GAGE IT WAS NICE BUT IT WAS NOT HAVING A CAMERA AND WAS VERY HEAVY TOO BUT ITS SOUND WAS AWESOME!!!! I REALLY LIKED THAT BUT THEN IT STARTED HANGING ALOT....SO I CHANGED MY MOBILE AND I BOUGHT A NEW 7610...
BELIEVE ME MAN ITS AWESOME IT HAS GR8 LOOKS, GR8 FEATURES AND IT HAS A CAMERA ALSO...

this phone is simply 1 of the best phones on da market. dough there iz atleast 1 phone that beats it in things like camera and mp3 playin, there is no phone that could beat it allround. it has a bit of everything which makes it so unique. i recomend this phone to everyone who wants 4.5 out of all d features a phone poseses.
I am in Love With This Phone
This a a wonderful phone. The RF is great, battery life is as stated in product info, and the Symbian operating system works flawlessly. I would recommend this phone to anybody.
Best Phone. Period.
Nokia has really made a solid product. The OS is great and very quick. Bluetooth is flawless and reception is great. After owning a P900, this is like a breath of fresh air.
