This phone sucks!!!

Jan 4, 2004 by Connivel

This phone is beyond the worst phone. The V.60g needs to be placed not 6 feet, but further under ground. Please a phone that you have to be a mad scientist to figure out how to set the alarm on the phone. Which is terrible as can be. Good thing I do not depend on the phone to wake me up. The ring tones are as quick as can be. Well then again so does all the Motorola phones. If you are with T-Mobile biggest recommedation that I will give is the V205 or the E715 Samsung phones. Loud as can be and hey their picture phones.

Motorola

When I signed up with Tmobile, I tried out the Samsung N105 and had very few problems with it. I did end up snapping the 'flappy' off and decided to get the Ericsson T68. I realized that the T68 had better reception, but horrrible sound quality. I traded the T68 for the V60 and have had no regrets. This phone has comprable battery life, and even better reception! Motorola takes the cake. This one is durable, stylish, and easy to use. I haven't had any trouble text messaging and love the fm radio attachment. I would not suggest getting the speaker-phone attachment...it doesn't live up to the hype.

GREAT FLIP PHONE!

In January, 2002, before this phone was released in the US, I had one imported from South America.....for almost $500!! Well, aside from having to wait to get an English manual, I will say it was worth it! I got the phone for my fiancee at the same time I got myself a Nokia 8890.
I am "Nokia-to-the-bone" and she is "Motorola-for-life"! We have gone through plenty of each and I can tell you that the v60g is Motorola's best effort yet. Beautiful to look at and options-galore! I still like Nokia's user interface and menus more, but this motorola DOES allow for you to customize the menus to make it more personalized and user-friendly.
When the T720i came out we went and looked at them, but they just don't seem to have the durability and "style" the v60 does. Once you own a metal-housed phone (v60, nokia 8890) the plastic ones just won't do!
SUMMARY: Great looking, tri-band, durable, customizable menus, and the first motorola flip which has an antenna that you CAN'T BEND!!!! (NON-EXTENDABLE)
