Great Phone
I recently just got this phone when I warrantied my RAZR. I was glad to get rid of it. The zx10 is Great except for minor things.
Pros-
-MP3 player is good, but the phone was not designed just as an MP3 player so not the best.
-3G UMTS technology
-1.3 Mega-pixel camera W/flash
-Great battery life so far. I talked for about 3 hours strait with one battery bar.
-Cingular Video is great and not choppy at all.
-MobiRadio comes thru pretty clear. Clearer than most phones I've heard.
-The buttons. This should be more of a selling point. These buttons are soft and extremely user friendly. No matter the size of the person they should find these buttons easy to operate.
-Call clarity is amazing. Crystal clear calling even with low service. It may be delayed longer in low service, but it is still clear as if not clearer than any house phone I have ever spoke on.
-Trans-flash supports 1Gb card.
Cons
-NO BUETOOTH. This just goes back to samsung not adding all features to one phone. D307, no camera; D357, no camera; X427, no sub LCD. Samsung tends to leave out one feature on most of their Phones tha would make them more useful.
-No MobiTv. What the hell? 3G without the ability to watch live TV. The RAZR could and it was horribly slow, but you still could if wanted to.
-Same balky Samsung OS.
I have not found too much to complain about, but Blue-tooth is kind of a big thing for me. Everything else I can deal with.
Nice start for 3G
Nice looks, feels good, polished chrome exterior might be more practical as brushed chrome, hope it doesn't scratch easily. Graphics are crystal clear, sharp contrast. Reception not quite as strong as my previous phone (Moto 551). Purchased without furthering my contract commitment for $250, not disappointed so far!
Samsung ZX10 Cool Device
Kind of a late review on this phone .The pros definitely out way the cons.First reception on this is crisp at best .Live in a area where reception is definitely a issue .Love the features of this sammy for the price .Awesome sound with ringtones.Camera is also a hit takes great pictures. Only 2 things samsungs missed on this was chrome outer skin for phone scratches way to easily and should have added bluetooth. Otherwise good solid sammy.
