Great Phone
I have an AX490,so far no problems,having what they call the Big Thumb software its great for me,I have big thumbs...Takes a bit to get the hang of setting up different applications
PROS:Sturdy built,clear speaker,easy to program once you get the hang of it
CONS:Small main screen,smaller front screen
and ringtones are few plus wallpaper
All in all its a good phone...
Really like this phone
I have had this phone for just over a week now and don't have anything bad to say about it. I have not had any of the problems that some reviews say they have had with it. I use it primarily for calls, texts and calendar. Being a bit older than the average user I am not into too many 'bells and whistles', so this phone is perfect for me. I had been using a Nokia for tha past 2 years and had gotten used to its menu, so there is an adjustment period to this phone. I guess if I actually took the time to read the users guide it would make the transition easier. But who actually reads those guides?...
PROS: love the size and feel of the phone.
Has great clarity and sound is fantastic. I downloaded a ringer from jukebox and the sound is almost as good as an MP3 player. The backlighting of ALL the buttons is a great feature. Buttons, both letters and numbers are easy to use, even with my clumsy fingers.
CONS: don't really have any except that I absolutely HATE MAIl IN REBATES, what a bummer to have to do all that paperwork to wait for my rebate, wish they would offer more of an instant rebate, although after mail in rebate I am basically getting the phone for free with 2 year activation.
