Watch out for the bad-battery ones!
I bought two of these phones, both had less than 36 hour standby battery life. I called Virgin and they said that early units were OK, but there's a bad batch out there now. Avoid this model unless you can verify that the problem has been fixed or that a bad unit can easily be returned.
Other than the bad-battery problem, it's a decent phone and Virgin has great service and customer service. For now, I recommend the "vox 8610", a comparable phone at a comparable price, but with near-advertised battery life.
NOT Happy
It's true that this phone was cheap, which just goes to prove that you really do get what you pay for. The lack of an external screen was annoying, but it wasn't too important to me. The nearly non-existent battery life WAS a big problem. The biggest problem, however, was the fact that, after buying the phone brand new and only having it for a few months, the screen completely burned out. Without a screen, you can't send texts, can't see who's calling, can't use your phonebook, an't use your alarm...can't do much of anything! Save your money and stay away from this phone.
Retarted Phone
