Pretty Good
I think this is a pretty good phone. I've had this phone for about a year so it's getting pretty old.
Pros:
Battery life is kinda good.
Cons:
Sucky ringtones and wallpaper. BUY NEW ONES!!
No qwerty keyboard. :(
Since it's a slider, you have to unlock the keyboard after a while.

It's an okay phone.
This phone really wasn't my first, or even second choice. I got it because I could get it for free on AT&T's website since I was eligible for an upgrade.
The pros of this phone are:
-Bright screen w/ good resolution
-Shortcut menu you can customize
-Options soft key menu you can customize
-Periodic alert option (so if you have a message it'll beep every so often instead of just once like the sony ericsson I had previously - incredibly annoying)
The cons are:
-Inability to transfer texts to SD card - this is a HUGE problem for me. I got this phone knowing it had a memory card slot so I figured the texts could be downloaded to it so that I could save them without always having a nearly-full inbox. WRONG!! I'm very disappointed in this non-feature.
-The delay between hitting the button to view a text and actually seeing the message. I'm guessing this happens on all phones, but it seems to be longer on this one.
-The battery life seems to be diminishing.
-There is no direct way to get to the camera
-The sound quality could be better

Good Phone
This was my first phone and it was great. Good camera, good phone for texting, really good music phone. The only complaint i have is the battery, but every phone needs a new and longer lasting battery. I highly recommend this phone.

loved this phone
This phone was the greatest everything about it was great the only problem that I had was with the battery life it really didn't last very long as it says it suppose to. If you do alot of texting or accessing media net it really doesn't last long.
If you can look past that it is a really wonderful phone.

Great phone, but...
I love this phone, i own it right now. Im on my third one. My first one accidentally fell down the toilet.... OOPS. But this phone is great! Easy to use, has good battery life, very loud. I love it. Mine drops a lot and it still works perfectly.
Theres only two problems that i have with it,
very minor though.
1. The back of the phone gets VERY hot when its charging.
2. When your receiving a text message your phone freezes.
But i would definitely recommend this phone to anyone (:

great phone
This is a great phone. I have had mine for months now and I just love it. It is functionable and stylish. I have to laugh at some of these reviews. People really should use the phone before making claims that are incorrect. You can access numbers with 1 push of a button. And you can access your phonebook with one click. The only downfall I see is that you can not voice dial! You can set speed dial numbers, but I am a fan of voice dial.
I have great reception (and I live in an area with very troublesome spots), I have never had a dropped call, and I love all the extras the phone comes with.
So, try the phone for yourself before you believe all the negative hype.
Enjoy,
Kristie

wonderful phone
This phone is a very nice phone features are wonderful and it is a nice change from the flip. I have had this phone for 4 days and I love it. I was skeptical at first because I read so much negative stuff about the newer phones but this one is great. texting i will say can be a challenge but over all this is a very good phone.

Awesome Phone
I have had my red samsung a737 for seven months and i love it!! I read some of the other reviews and mine only gets hot when i charge it for a long period of time. Or if I talk on it for more than two hours. Which isn't bad. I love everything about it and i did have a nokia before this in which i dropped all the time and when i got this one for my birthday, i was protective of it. in the past seven months i have dropped it twice and I don't usually let people touch my phone. I really don't want it messed up so I only let trusted friends use it. But yea overall great phone. Though i do wonder why some of my text messages become locked and i cant save them but only to my sim card....and so I am going into the store to ask them about it later.

Trading this phone ASAP
Pros:
*Alarm Clock is very helpful
*calender helps to keep you organized
*Holds a charge for quite a while
*Decent ringers
*Good screen size
*Decent Camera
Cons:
*Awful reception, I will be in the same spot for an hour, and in that hour I will go from 5 bars to 1 to no service for about 20 minutes, and then it will come back again
*The interior antenna is inconveniently placed
*The battery cover comes off very easily but is not as easy to put back on
*The screen smudges and scratches very easily because it is not hidden (common problem with slider phones)
*The Internet will go out sometimes
*The left-side menu button is very inconvenient and not needed at all
*There is a limit as to how many people you can send a text message to at once
*Only easy to text if you are used to the razr-style buttons
Overall- it is ok if you only need it for emergencies, but I would recommend a Nokia, LG or Motorola phone for any ATT users
